{more layers}

Usually these little ladies are running and squawking around, but the colder temperatures have slowed them down just as much as the rest of us.  These photos were taken as we were preparing to move them to a new bit of the pasture.  For awhile egg production was less than stellar, but we are starting to definitely see an increase in numbers with each passing day.

A huge help in the increase of egg production has been that we purchased 200 ready-to-lay ladies from a couple farming friends.  So we are now quickening the slow increase that much more :)

As always, the big helper, Toby.

Stop by our farm store to pick up eggs {as well as chicken, turkey, pork, honey, limited beef, and soon lamb}
